Polar Paradise: Minutes 2
DVDs containing the Max Payne level editor are handed out and updates on the development wiki are discussed
Amongst the updates is the inclusion of the polar bear model used for Polar Payne.
Before the next meeting Wei is to produce concept sketches for the evil elf and Santa character.
During this meeting Wei shows us some concept work he has done in his own time; his own creations are very impressive; a very talented artist.
Wei and Yogeshwar leave the meeting at this point to attend a class.
Mark and Jonathan discuss further game ideas:
• The elf character could have a Grinch style appearance and be included in the game as cannon fodder – so there are lots of them and easy to kill. The elves could be zombie-like.
• The development plan will lead up till April and be broken down week by week. The length of development is approximately 9 weeks so each stage of development (pre, production, post) will be divided into three week chunks.
• The factory in the game will feature an elf-o-matic, a device that generates elves. The player must defeat all the elves to exit the room.
