Second floor maze added to factory:
- 25/02/07 - 27/02/07 - Elf-O-Matic
Worked on refining the Elf-O-Matic room (see screens below). In the new design a cylinder in the centre of the room, containing green goo, is the source of evil elf production. The pipes supply the elf pods with enough goo to keep popping out those nasties!
Also recieved so sound samples from Adam Meradith for the Evil Elf, Santa (who sounds like the bad guy from Transformers) and the penguins. All he needs now is a script.
Official team meeting and catch-up session for myself (AWOL last week). Spoke to Yogi about preparing a document for him that outlines the visual themes of the factory. I will be meeting him tomorrow at 10am to give him that.
Had a meeting with Jonathan to go over the initial design of the first floor layout of the factory. All well but the corridors are a bit tight and the Elf-O-Matic room needs to be adjusted.
Spoke to Adam Meradith about providing vocal talent to the characters and prepared a document for him containing a short story and character profiles with images.
Worked with Jonathan during today's lesson period on some concepts for the exterior of Santa's factory.

Drafted the agenda and took minutes during the meeting - gave Wei some images of weapons from Ratchet and Clank

Continuing with my lessons in the Max Payne editor I re-created my flat, complete with red carpet texture for my room, and added lighting.

Updated the concept document to include recent changes and put together a PowerPoint presentation for the game pitch tomorrow. Here is the presentation:

Started to work in the Max Payne Editor and created a simple room
Created the downloads and links pages and added some files for artists to download. Drafted agenda for meeting and created DVD backups containing MaxEd for artists
Created an initial design for one of the rooms in Santa's factory
Drafted the agenda and took minutes during the meeting
Joined a group discussion amongst 4th year Masters Game Art and Animation students as they decided which projects (proposed by 3rd year Game Production Management) they wanted to work on. The result of this meeting was Wei and Yogeshwar joining the Polar Paradise team. Created the wiki and agenda in preparation for the first team meeting.
