JONATHAN'S WORK
1st-12th Feb
- Worked on Game Design Document
- Set up game database template for modification.
- Added basic 'snowball' weapon to game
- Rigged 'Evil Elf' model to Max Payne skeleton, and exported to the game's database. (See Screenshots)
- Constructed the following prototype/concept levels:
Frosty House test level
Originally created as prefab for the outdoor level, I'm using this level to test various things such as gameplay mechanics, new characters & models, outdoor lighting
Wooden Bridge
Wooden bridge leading to Santa's Grotto / Toy Factory. Looked good on paper (See Concept Art) but I'm having second thoughts about it.
Giant Snowball system
This giant snowball is meant to chase the player down a set path, in a similar fashion to Raiders of Lost Ark. It works okay, although the snowball/sphere has some boolean errors which may cause rendering problems later on.
